MARBLE
Marble is a beautiful natural stone, often used as decorative purposes
in flooring and walls in homes, businesses and vessels. Designers are
known to select marble for its appealing, luxurious, yet affordable look
and feel in any décor and styling. We offer in our showroom a large
variety of colors in both glossy and matte finishes. Sizes of 12x12,
18x18 & 24x24 inches are available.
Due to its nature, marble is a relatively soft stone and can be
identified by its beautiful, distinct veins and coloring.

TERRAZZO
Terrazzo, made essentially of concrete and epoxy and 50-90% marble
chips, was originally poured and spread throughout area being covered.
Grinding the material and applying a wax coating then achieved the flat
surface. Now more convenient, it is readily available in tiles, making
installation less complicated and more affordable.
Please visit our showroom, where we have many colors of Terrazzo
available in 12x12 and 18x18 tiles.

CERAMIC AND
PORCELAIN TILE
Ceramic and porcelain tiles are man-made & clay-fired, which can be made
to look like stone and may be so realistic, even stone experts are at
times fooled! Ceramic is made with a very thin baked-on finish, which
can crack or chip quite easily. Porcelain is very durable and scratch
resistant. The best porcelain tiles do not have the baked- on surface
and are the same throughout.

SLATE
Slate can be used both indoors and out. It is found in earth tones and
has a sheet-like appearance. Slate is difficult to work with due to its
high clay content, which will often flake, crack and develop
efflorescence, especially in wet areas, which is why a good silicone
penetrating sealant is recommended. Another thing is it will never have
a high gloss unless treated with a coating.

travertine.

TRAVERTINE
Travertine is an ivory, golden-brown colored limestone with varying
sized holes formed by erosion from approximately 6,000,000 years of hot-spring movement. Polished travertine has the holes filled with a
color-washed Portland cement fill. Fillers do not take a high polish, so
overall polish may be blotchy.
